Since 1955, Hyde Park Feed & Country Store (Hyde Park Farm Supply) has been in existence at the same location - 1830 Gainsborough Road on the edge of London, Ontario, Canada and owned/operated by the same family; the Franks. Over the years, three generations of the family have contributed to the success of the business.

Beginning originally as a Purina feed dealership, the retail store has evolved over the years to become a 'destination' for families in the area as well as travelers from many parts of the country. Locals and out-of-towners alike bring visiting family and friends to experience delightful country shopping at a leisurely, country pace where everyone enjoys spending time. Welcoming warm, cozy colours combined with natural pine trim and barn board make the visit even more memorable while carry out service is our trademark. It's a place where shoppers can literally find something for everyone, at very affordable prices.

Continuing today with its roots of providing quality foods and supplies for pets, the early 90's brought with it the idea of offering similar items for wild birds, thus filling a niche in the local marketplace. Premium wild bird products including quality seeds and custom seed mixes, nectar, suet, feeders, houses, and various accessories have grown steadily through the years and now account for a majority of the business.

In 2004, an expansion to a portion of the 2200 sq.ft. of retail space now utilized on the property, meant additional products could be added to an already extensive line. Keeping with the farm/country theme along with a desire for local, Canadian and natural, we scoured the area for products with these values in mind. A gift area that includes local honey, maple syrup products, Ontario-grown peanuts, gourmet jams & preserves, sparkling cider, beeswax and soy wax candles, soaps, lipbalms, native seeds, the list goes on, was added during this time.

A more recent expansion known as our 'Garden Room' has allowed for more space to properly display the vast array of functional and decorative birdhouses, birdbaths, bat houses, and accessories along with allowing space for the sometimes elegant but more often whimsical, garden decor. Around the same time, an onsite woodworking shop became reality, allowing us to assist our customers with various modifications or adjustments that they require with the products purchased.

Visiting Hyde Park Feed & Country Store is much more than you imagined. It is simply a nature-inspired joy; a way to relax, unwind and forget the hustle and bustle of city malls, big box stores, jammed parking lots and city traffic.
